I stumbled upon the branch west of Nishiki market when looking for a place to eat. I decided to splurge on this one meal and it still exceeded my expectations. Most expensive dinner I have bought on my trip but still by far the best value for my dollar (value for my kroner, I am Danish after all) Service is excellent and entertaining. They are accommodating to solo travelers/tourists. And speak English very well. I can recommend the 30.000 ¥ course with the 100 gram kobe cut.
