I was not blown away by this place. Let’s start with the positives. The view was good and the atmosphere was welcoming. It’s located on the eighth floor of the building with good views of the river.
We had the Kobe Beef Fillet each with set menu B and a bottle of wine.
The start of the meal was very rushed, with things being dropped and then replaced as soon as we finished.
The beef itself was outstanding, some of the tastiest beef I’ve had. The downside is that the have no idea what to pair it with. The main course came with some bland root vegetables, potato, and a Pak Choi leaf. None of which was flavourful or had any seasoning on it.
Again, beef was great, but I regret the amount of money we spent when I’d had the same type of beef in the Tokyo markets for way less that was just as flavourful.
Save your money, head to the market, taste the best beef in the world there and save your pennies for other experiences.
