Hands down some of the best beef I’ve ever had the luxury of eviscerating. We were initially bummed to learn that they were out of the top two special recommendations / cuts, the fillet and chateaubriand, but the sirloin we ended up getting blew us out of the water. Our incredible chef, Masa, delivered a 5 star meal while also managing to provide beautiful company and conversation. I’ve now made it my mission to come back to Kyoto to spoil my tastebuds with the two cuts that evaded this trip. 10/10 if you’re in Kyoto and do t stop in for some Kobe and Masa time you’re making a mistake!
