We didn’t have a reservation, but our group of four was able to walk in without any issues, which was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant’s atmosphere was really nice, especially with the great view of the street and river from the 8th floor. It felt relaxing and added to the overall experience. The food was fantastic. The chef prepared everything right in front of us, and the pacing of the meal was perfect—we never felt rushed or like we were waiting too long. The Kobe beef was incredibly tender, cooked perfectly to medium rare, and the condiments provided paired really well with the meat. The staff were amazing. They were super friendly and accommodating, and they spoke good English, which made things a lot easier for us. Our waitress, in particular, was so kind and really made us feel welcome, though I didn’t catch her name. Overall, we were very happy with our visit and definitely plan to come back the next time we’re in Kyoto!
