As a rule, we don’t eat at the same establishment twice while on vacation. We made an exception with this Teppanyaki restaurant, returning the following day for an encore experience. The atmosphere and view is serene and the staff is unbelievably attentive. In particular ,Ayami, made our dishes right before us, explaining what she was creating and offering suggestions on how to combine the spices on our plates to enhance the taste of our beef. It’s quite obvious that she enjoyed preparing our dishes, and seeing our smiles of satisfaction after each bite. I am from the U.S. and I can tell you, regardless of what they say, we do NOT get the same quality of Kobe beef that we were fortunate enough to indulge in at Beef Kisshokichi Kyoto. I highly recommend the experience for any local or traveler looking for an unforgettable gastronomic treat.
