Excellent place for enjoying Kobe beef in Kyoto, with great views from the 8th floor looking over the river. Plenty of options for different cuts of Kobe beef here, with the leaner cuts being more affordable ranging to the extremely marbled and posh Chateau Briand cut. We ordered 3 different cuts to share between the 3 of us, to compare. Personally, we all liked the mid-range cuts as they weren't to fatty and oily. Make sure to upgrade to Kobe beef garlic fried rice as it's absolutely delicious! Service was great - the staff were extremely courteous, pleasant, and attentive. Price point is somewhat on the higher end; budget should be around $100-150AUD per person or more depending on what type of cut you go for, the number of side dishes, and drinks. Having said that, you're getting the best Kobe beef outside of Kobe prefecture itself, so I think it's actually reasonable.
