I 100% recommend. My partner and I went for Valentines. We got the Kobe Beef Teppanyaki Kappo course and I opted for the Garlic fried rice which was fried with Kobe. The food was excellent. The beef’s marbling was beautiful and once cooked it was the juiciest steak I’ve ever tried. The restaurant had a chic romantic/intimate atmosphere and the staff were very polite and spoke English. We got chatting with the chef who was from Kobe and studied English in Canada. The wait staff were very attentive to all our needs. I liked the location. It was perfect for a romantic post-dinner walk around the picturesque streets of Gion. I will be recommending this restaurant to friends, especially if they’re looking for date ideas.
