I stumbled across this place while walking in Gion, and I’m very glad I did. It was my first experience of Kobe beef and it was delicious. The service and the food were delightful. It is very pricey (starting at just under 20,000 yen I recall) so be mindful of that, as depending on your personal preferences you may or may not consider it value for money, but for me the whole meal experience was excellent. I enjoyed watching the chef prepare the food in front of me. I had the marbled beef which was delicious - having now eaten it, I wish I had committed to the sirloin!
