The room is an intimate and small arena tucked away on a hidden street in Kyoto. We were given a warm welcome and quickly sat down into a quiet venue, so much so it is as if it is overlooked. The service was quick with drinks often being delivered just moments after ordering them. The food was cooked in front of us at the teppanyaki bar, which was entertaining enough to watch until it was served. The aroma coming from the beef, seafood and vegetables was enough to make your mouth ooze with saliva. Most importantly, the food was absolutely incredible, it is the best beef I have ever tried; succulent, tender and delicious beef partnered with a rich beef soup and fantastic vegetables. Despite the high prices of the food, I would argue that its value is justified. The Marble and Kobe beef fell apart in your mouth, and the seafood (despite being cooked on the same bar as the meat) still had a strong and fresh flavour! They offer a variety of beverages and alcoholic drinks and end the meal with a complimentary cup of green tea.
