Was so excited for this and it was a real let-down. We booked one of the set menu’s (please note for others, if you don’t book this and just turn up, you cannot choose the menu and have to pay top dollar for steak) The starter was poor with cold, chewy steak. We also had an egg custard dish with tiny bits of steak in. Ravioli was good and the actual steak itself was very good and I enjoyed. Portion-size was very small. Staff were very friendly - however it seemed like chaos. Multiple wrong orders across the table and hardly any conversations with the chef. Other reviews are so strong that I feel we must have had a rare, poor experience.
