Do not let the menu prices deter you from an incredible evening and a wonderful meal. Kyoto has no shortage of food options and there may be some trepidation surrounding local tourist traps. This is not one of those places. With meat that melts in your mouth, a set arrangement that feeds into one another and an ambiance suitable for talking without seeming too chaotic, this was easily my most enjoyable meal in Kyoto. If you can afford the price and time, I can vouch the staff will take excellent care of you and will happily walk you through all the menu options if you so desire. I typically factor price into my overall ratings and would still give a 6/5 if I could.
